Hints for better results of scanning of job pages
Sometimes the automatic scanning of company job pages does not produce the desired results. We try to improve our technology to overcome these problems. However if you can't wait for us, you may get what you want by presenting the jobs adds to us in plain HTML without too much fancy stuff. You can place this list of jobs in plain HTML at a location only known to
Jobsafari
. For instance - HTML like shown below is guaranteed to work well:

Common known problems arise from:
- Using javascript in the href attribute. E.g
<A HREF="javascript:display('job117')">Sales person</A> will not work.
- Letting the content of the A tag be something else than the job title. E.g <B>Sales person</B><A HREF="http://www.somedomain.com/jobs/job117.html">Read more</A> will not work properly.
- Supplying the job page in other formats than HTML. E.g PDF will not work properly.
- Recycling URL addresses. E.g if you place an advertisement at http://www.somedomain.com/jobs/salesperson.html then after a while this job will expire (from our point of view) and if replace the contents of the URL address with a new advertisement, it will not be shown at
Jobsafari
. Use instead unique URL addresses like http://www.somedomain.com/jobs/salesperson20010809.html.
